How to Install libasound2 software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

libasound2 software package provides shared library for ALSA applications, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libasound2

libasound2 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libasound2 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libasound2 *

You will get with libasound2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
